ILDA Professional companies
have proven, documented experience. They have met stringent
IAPLC
standards set by ILDA in laser shows, safety, and related areas.
Accreditation is not easy to
obtain and ILDA's program is new, so at this time (late 2010) only a few
companies have achieved ILDA Professional accreditation. They can be
found here:

ILDA Professional companies

ILDA
Professional vs ILDA Membership
Many or most ILDA
Professional companies are also ILDA Members (see column at right).
It is possible for
non-members to achieve ILDA Professional accreditation; however, please
note that any such non-members would not be bound by the ILDA Code of
Ethics, Code of Business Practice or other consumer protections.

Any lasershow company,
organization or individual can be an ILDA Member, if they agree to
ethical business practices and to safe laser usage.
ILDA Members can be found
three ways:
Codes of
Ethics and Business Practice
If anyone -- customer,
client or competitor -- has a problem with an ILDA Member, the Ethics
Committee can review the case in order to reach a fair settlement. In
extreme cases, violators are removed from ILDA Membership. For more
information, see the Code of
Ethics page.

ILDA
Awards
ILDA
Members can compete in the annual ILDA Awards competition. This helps
identify companies whose work is deemed worthy of award recognition.
Even just entering the Awards can help a company strive for quality
shows and peer recognition.
