Update
your listings (address, email, etc.) at ILDA's websites
Public information about
ILDA Members is listed in two main places, the ILDA Membership Management
website and the alphabetic and geographic lists of Members. Here's how
to change these listings.
Do-it-yourself at the ILDA Membership Management website
You can update information
yourself at the
ILDA Membership Management website. Simply go to the website, and
log on. You can then change your information. More detailed instructions
are here.
Information that ILDA must change
ILDA keeps an
alphabetic and a
geographic list of Members. To
have information updated on these two lists,
contact ILDA and let us know the new information.
Note that we do not monitor
the ILDA Membership Management website for changes. So if you changed
your ILDA Membership Management listing as described in the section
above, be sure to also contact us so we can change the alphabetic and
geographic lists as well.
If you
have more than one office
Because of how our database
works, each ILDA Membership is associated with a single address, a
single email address, etc. We cannot list branch offices or multiple
contacts. For more information, see our
Policy on branch offices.
If you do have a branch
office, this can be put in the Description field that each Member can
supply. Contact ILDA to change the Description
field.
Special
note about email addresses
Your email address is only
publicly available in one place: when someone does a
search of the Membership Management database. Email addresses are
NOT listed in the alphabetic and
geographic lists; this is to
avoid spammers harvesting addresses from these lists.
If your email address
changes, you should update your listing at the Membership Management
website. (See the section above to find out how to do this.) Also,
contact ILDA so that we can manually update
our ILDA List and Laserist List mailing lists.
If you want more than one
person in your company to receive ILDA List and Laserist List mail,
contact us and we will add their names to
these two lists.
