Looking for a laser company, equipment or information? Use the
ILDA Inquiries and Referral Service

ILDA receives many requests each month for information. These include:

People who need a laser company that can handle an event in a particular city
People who want laser equipment with a certain capability
People interested in laser show technology, or how to become a laserist

If you have questions or are looking for information, write to us. We will answer the easy questions directly, and pass the others on to our members, as appropriate. For example, if you are looking for a company to do a show, we send your inquiry to our private, members-only e-mail list. If an ILDA Member can help, they will respond to you directly.

(Don't forget that you can also check our searchable Member directory. Use the search form to look for companies in a certain country, or to look for a keyword in the "Description" field. You can also search for our Members based on their Membership category, such as larger, medium and smaller laser show companies.)

So, send in your questions and let the world's laser show experts -- ILDA Members -- answer them for you!

The Laserist mailing list

If you are very interested in laser shows, you may want to join the Laserist mailing list. This is an e-mail discussion group, where even non-ILDA members can send messages to each other. To find out more, see the Mailing lists at ILDA page.

Information for ILDA Members

Inquiries benefit ILDA Members, as well as those asking

For ILDA Members, the Inquiries and Referral Service is one of the many benefits of membership. Our Members can find out about show and sales inquiries that as individual companies they might not receive. Here are some typical inquiries:

"I need a green light, 8 watt, air-cooled laser projector that can do writing, drawing, and animated graphics."
"We are looking for companies who can provide us with laser shows for our client here in [country]"
"We are building the biggest nightclub in [major world city] and would like to have laser technology. Please provide information if you do this type of work."
"I am trying to find the name of a large and spectacular laser show in [major world city]. I don't have any information on the company that produces it, or the exact location. Can you help?"
"I need a laser projector, full color, for a water screen in [country]. Please contact me, preference in Spanish."

ILDA Members can also use this service

We even have ILDA Members who use the Inquiries and Referral Service to help them in their projects. For example:

"For a show in [major world city] in late September I want to rent the following equipment: 1 multicolor 10+ watt laser, 2 projectors (ILDA standard), 2 5-watt green lasers ...."

If you want to post inquiries directly to other ILDA Members, use the ILDA List e-mail service. The ability to send messages to the ILDA List is available only to current ILDA Members in good standing.
