??Need some advise on choosing laser system??

Hi there,

I am very excited to join this community. A little bit about myself and our company. My name is Chen Mi. I am the account manager for our company STWC LLC. in China. Our business are mainly focus on design large music concert , TV shows, and most special events run by govt. We are professional at computer lighting, staging, sound systems and special effects. We are also the exclusive dealer of Le Maitre Special Effect Inc. in China.

Anyway, let me back to my question. We are looking for a laser system that can suit for a large stage. I do not know too much about laser unfortunately. So I could not give a description of the type we want. But couple things I know which are the system must be air cooled; must be at least 5 watts; must have laser heads able to install on truss. Can experienced people give me some advise on specific brands and models? We want a reliable system, dont want a generic brand. Any help will be deeply appreciated!!

Definately need some more info for advice. First off how "large" is this stage, approx how many seats in audience? Second are you looking for full color RGB, or RGY, or just green, etc? How many "heads" are you looking for on this truss? Do you want all to have full color capability? All heads to have graphics capability (scan performance/scan angles desired?) Is your "at least 5W" requirement per head, or to be divided accross all heads? Would you like each head self contained (with laser inside), or fiber fed from a single laser source? Also how do you plan on controlling it (simple DMX preprogrammed show, or PC with authoring capability?) And most imporantly of all, what is your budget, as knowing this will help us make recommendations, and let you know if this is feasible within your budget.
