Hello everybody,
Just so there is no confusion LM Productions designed the concept and installed the show at Universal Studios Florida and also as this is a laser forum there are 4 x 10watt white light laser diodes and 4 x green laser diodes, these have full pan and tilt and look great, a really great installation.

Here is a photo of the show at Universal Studios Florida. Three of the eight lasers are visible here. The green beams at left come from the roof of Fear Factor. The purple beams come from the top of the overhang at the entrance to Men in Black. There are very faint beams visible at right, from the midroof of Back to the Future.

The show features not only lasers but other effects. There are four spheres floating in the central lagoon; one is shown here. Movie clips are shown in 360 degrees (hence the name...) on each sphere. On buildings such as Men in Black and Back to the Future, ancillary video is shown. One cool effect is when it looks like giant bugs are crawling up the buildings. There are fireworks in the sky and in the lagoon -- you may be able to see a small pyro barge at lower right.
All in all, it is an impressive show when all the effects are going. In the summer it ran every night; plus it runs on special occasions like Halloween Horror Nights. So if you are going to Universal Studios Florida and want to see the show, call ahead to see if it will be running.

Hi guys,
thank you Patrick for that nice photo, did u took it by yourself? I'm a littel bit envious I'm so far away from all that great theme parks. But the next time when I will visit Orlando, I invite you to one or more cups at Strabucks ;).
Stephen, maybe you need a young, crative, german show designer with a lot of theme park experience, I miss doing such great shows.

Benjamin, yes I did take the photo myself. It is a composite of a few separate elements, such as the fireworks and the image on the ball. The finale of the show is basically like this, with all elements going, although the Universal logo is not shown during the fireworks/laser.
And yes, when you come to Orlando, we can go over to Universal together and see this (assuming it is running...). Here's what you'd see if you looked to your left:

And here is an overall view from the top of one of the buildings (sorry, no guest access ;) . This only shows three of the four video spheres. There is another sphere to the lower right, plus three more lasers behind the camera view.

OMG! Is the show really this big?!?Those photos are amazing! I really want to watch it, but it is in refurbishment right now. Could you send me the soundtrack? I want to use it for a new RCT3 firework display.
