Hi,
my name is Vladimir,

I am R&D manager of Russian HiTech firm. We have designed many lasers for scientific and medical needs and now we are plannig to design laser system for shows and advertising. So, we would like to know needs of professionals over the world for quality and success. Please answer:
1. What are your main problems with lasers?
2. What characterists do you want from lasers?
3. What do you expect from lasers for shows?

Please, give you brief assess and opinion about our experimental sample.
Main charachteristics of our experimental sample:
Air-cooled laser, coper and gold vapor laser active elements,
Wavelengths, (nm) 510,6; 578,2
Power, (W) 10
Beam diameter, (mm) 14 or 5
Pulse frequency, (kHz) 16
Divergence, (mrad) 0,5
Pulse duration, (ns) 20
Start-up time, (min) 40
Power supply 220V/50Hz, one phase
Power consumption, (kW) 3
Dimensions, (mm) 1000X570X270
Weight, (kg) 60
Angular field of scanning, (grad) +-20
Speed of scanning system, (kHz ILDA)
for 5 mm beam diameter 25
for 14 mm beam diameter 1

Thank you.

Hi Vladimir,

I think it would be a very good idea for you to contact Dmitriy Lavrentiev of Laser Action in Moscow. He can be reached at: +7-495-561-73-23 or info@pangolin.ru

Dmitriy has extensive experience with lasers for display and light show purposes. And since he is in Russia, he should be a very good local resource for you.

Best regards,

William Benner
