ILDA members receive a special rate at three Rimini hotels. All hotels are within walking distance of each other. The ILDA Awards Banquet will be held at the Hotel Le Conchiglie; the ATW, seminars, and business meetings will take place at the SIB exhibition hall. An ILDA shuttle bus will transport members from the Hotel Le Conchiglie to the exhibition hall (and can make stops at the other two hotels if necesary).

with all the hotel details. Every effort will be made by Adria Congrex
to place you in the hotel category of your choice. Hotels have very
few single rooms therefore double rooms for single use will be assigned
once singles are no further available. Please note that hotel categories
and rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis In case of
no-show the hotel will charge one night per room booked on your credit
card.

Conference attendees
and their guests can take advantage of guided tours to attractions of
historic and cultural interest in Italy. In order to book a trip, it
is necessary to fill in the on-line
booking form, including
complete credit card information Adria Congrex will charge your
credit card the amount of the booked excursion. In case of cancellation
later than February 28th, no refund of any kind will be made.
If the minimum number of bookings for
excursion will be not reached (15 people), refunds will be made after
the event, without detractions of any kind.

| Ravenna represents an extremely important star in the
international cultural and tourist firmament. The town was founded on several
lagoon islands and was the last stronghold of the Western Roman Empire; it was
the capital of the Barbarian kingdoms and the exarchate of Byzantium and the
Italic Kingdom . As the place where the Roman and Byzantine worlds met, Ravenna
has a heritage of superb basilicas adorned with fine relief work and priceless
mosaics. Sublime creations such as (to name but a few) the church of San Vitale
with its incomparable multicolored mosaics portraying Giustiniano and the
Empress Teodora, Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, which was built by Teodorico,
Sant'Apollinare in Classe with its spectacular mosaics, and the impressive and
unusually beautiful Mausoleum of Galla Placida, built in 425-26, give Ravenna an
almost magical air. The town also has numerous, interesting public and religious
buildings, many of them dating from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, which
draw numerous visitors to the city of the Exarchs. As well as this important
historical heritage, the town boasts an extremely elegant and refined town
centre that has numerous places to sit and relax, such as the Piazza del Popolo,

| Santarcangelo is a special town, perhaps due to its dual
identity, both popular and noble, or perhaps due to its traditions, monuments,
mysterious grottos, handicrafts or the temptation of its excellent cuisine. The
old town, enclosed within 14th century walls, has picturesque streets that
clamber up the hillside and open onto tranquil squares. Places, things,
curiosities: The 14th century Malatesta Fortress, which contends with Gradara as
being the site of the tragic story of Paolo and Francesca, the grottoes dug deep
in the hillside on three, superimposed levels and the Marchi family shop, where
traditional cloth is printed and a 17th century mangle is used to iron it.

| Situated at 142 metres above sea level, with the Republic of San Marino, Rimini and Carpegna in the background, Gradara represents an extraordinary urban and architectural combination. Legend has it that the castle was the scene of the famous and tragic love story of Paolo and Francesca, caught in each other's arms and killed by Gianciotto, Francesca's husband. This love story was immortalized by Dante in his Divine Comedy.
