2008 ILDA Conference - Preview photos
In February, we visited the Carnival
Imagination when it was docked in Miami. Here are some photos of the
ship. Click on any photo for a larger version.

The ship is really large! It has to
be, with all the amenities, including a theater, casino, disco,
nightclubs, kids camp, pools, waterpark, spa, fitness center,
dining room, cafeteria, and food court. It truly is a floating resort. |

| ILDA Awards Presentation/Lase-Off | |
 |
This theater is where the ILDA Awards will be presented, as well as where the Lase-Off will take place. At the Awards, you will see laser and video presentations of winning shows. For the Lase-Off, anyone may bring a show; we'll be partying for a couple of hours. |

| Cabins | |
 |
This is the standard cabin, reserved
by ILDA at a special rate. It is "Category 4A Interior". Although
it is small, there are lots of clever space-saving touches, such
as the bed that folds out from the right side. Besides, you will
be spending most of your time outside the cabin, either on the
ship or on the island excursions.
Note: The bed shown at
left is really two twins put together using king-size sheets. If
you want two separate beds, the staff will separate them into two
twin-sized beds similar to the photo below. |

This is a larger interior cabin. If you want a larger cabin, or one with an exterior window, you should book as early as possible. Cabins are first-come, first-served. |
| ILDA Meeting Rooms | |

This is the conference room, where some ILDA meetings will take place. |

A dance club at night and a meeting location during the day. |

The Tabletop Tradeshow will be held in this lounge. Probably the most comfortable tradeshow ILDA has ever held! |

Like to gamble? There is a casino with slot machine, roulette and electronic poker. |

One of the informal dining areas. This has a variety of serving stations. Don't forget that the food is unlimited. |
| Upper decks | |
 |
Being on a cruise ship, you need to go
topside to the decks for sun and water activities during the day,
and watching the stars at night. ILDA will do an outdoor laser show here on the Lido Deck. |

You'll have a great view whether in port or out at sea. |

Kids have their own waterpark, with slides, tubes and fountain jets. |
