2008 ILDA Conference logo contest

ILDA is holding a contest to design a logo for the 2008 Conference. The logo will be printed on t-shirts given out to registered attendees, as well as other Conference materials. The winner will receive $125 credit towards any ILDA fee or product, plus a copy of the t-shirt (a second copy if they are already going on the cruise).

UPDATE July 23 2008: The votes have been counted, and the winning entry is... "Sun"  Congratulations to designer Andreas Groth! His artwork was submitted by Bernd Steinert of ILDA Member spectrabeam.de.
    Thanks to Ian Pulciano of Pangolin, and Individual Member John Birchman for submitting the other two entries, and thanks to everyone who voted!

Every ILDA Member is eligible to vote. Vote for either the "Ship", "Sun" or "Waves" entry. You can click on the pictures above to see a larger view of each entry. Send your vote by email to ILDA at

Please note the voting rules:

  1. Votes are due by Saturday July 19 2008 at 11:59 pm U.S. West Coast time (2:59 am July 20 U.S. East Coast time).

  2. In your email, state your ILDA Member name. For Corporate Members, this is the company name.

  3. Only one email vote per ILDA Member.
             3A: For Corporate and Nonprofit Members, this is one vote per company or
              organization -- NOT one vote per person.
              3B: If we receive more than one vote from a Member, only the first email
              received is counted. Any additional emails from the same Member,
              with different votes, will be discarded.

  4. ILDA will weight the voting based on the number of votes to which the Member is entitled according to the Bylaws. For Corporate Members, this is either 4, 3 or 2 weighted votes depending on the amount of dues paid. For Nonprofits and Individual Members, this is 1 vote.

  5. In case of disputes over email validity, vote weighting, or any other part of this contest, ILDA will decide and the decision is final.
