ILDA revisits Orlando, Florida Nov. 11-14 for the association’s 15th annual conference. Orlando last played host to ILDA in 1999, when members met at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and enjoyed warm Florida weather and the attractions of Walt Disney World. This year, the conference activities will take place at the Tupperware Center, an exhibit hall and banquet facility. The official conference hotel is the Adam’s Mark, where an early registration reception will be held the evening of Nov. 11. All other activities will take place at the Tupperware Center, with ILDA providing free shuttle transportation for the seven mile trip. The Conference officially starts Nov. 12 with the Advanced Technology Workshop and the opening of the Trade Show. The formal membership meeting takes place Nov. 13 followed by committee meetings, workshops and the Lase-Off. The annual awards banquet closes the conference on the evening of Nov. 14. Occupancy: $125.00 per night. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Planning is well underway for the Advanced Technology Workshop, Design and Production Workshops, Trade Show, Seminars,Membership Meetings, etc. These events will be taking place during the day on 12, 13 and 14 November. EVENING EVENTS For those who arrive on or before the afternoon of 11 November, we will get off to a great start with a Welcome Reception. The reception will be held at the Adam’s Mark Orlando. Early registration will also take place that evening. The Lase-Off and ILDA 2001 Awards Banquet will take place on 13 and 14 November, respectively, at The Tupperware Center. Transportation between the conference hotel and the conference events will be provided. Busses will depart the hotel each morning and return at the end of the conference events at Tupperware. There will be shuttle transportation provided, for those attending the ILDA conference, between the conference hotel and Tupperware Center on 12, 13 and 14 November.
